Jane Paech grew up on a farm in South Australia where her lifelong love of food was born. Living in New York further ignited her passion for both food and travel, and when an opportunity to live in Paris arose, she turned from a career in nursing to travel writing, unable to resist documenting all the wonderful sights, smells, and tastes she discovered. Do you wish you lived in Paris?

If you are curious about what it would be like to live in Paris, this is a book for you. It gives you a realistic picture of some of the hurdles you will need to deal with if you move from the U.S. to France. You will probably not end up with a large group of French friends, especially if you are not fluent in French. But Paris can be a charming, exciting, and addictive place to live.

This gorgeous book took me on a rare journey of daily life in Paris as only a Mum could tell it. A beautiful mix of autobiography, travel guide, foodie journal, and cultural insights. Please share more with us Jane!
