German army had as much or more diverse troops than the allied army. Well that reveals the manufactured history we are taught in school about Germany and the chancellor. Isn't it.

Fresh Perspective

This book highlights the ethnic diversity amongst those who supported the Third Reich. Germany was willing and able to support a variety of cultures around the world. The view of the Third Reich as the world's most racist regime takes a hit when comparisons are made between Germany, the United States and Britain.

Shining light on the Rainbow Reich.

Multi-culturalism is rife these days but not really new as Veronica Clark (a courageous military historian) shows in her recent book. What motivated many was not the love of the Third Reich so much as them being weary of the British colonial rule or how the English treated them in attaining and maintaining it, disdain for Soviet Bolsheviks, and the international banking cartel. It at least questions in a sober, and not entirely humorless way, the perception of just what the Germany of those years was compared to the huge propaganda saying what we're supposed to believe it was. Even some 'noe-Nazis' could learn from this book and forgo their racialism and realize what they was the German Reich was not what it actually was.
Veronica Clark uses mainly what was written at the time and proves, to me, when Europeans write their history without fear and honestly, it is much more revealing. Who would imagine the German Reich to be so inclusive and struggle deeply with the reality that, to win, many of their old prejudices had to be modified or dropped and did so, more than many so-called Allies fighting for Four Freedoms who claimed to be doing the same things and did not.
