Fundamentals of GPS Receivers: A Hardware Approach, by Dan Doberstein

Fundamentals of GPS receivers covers GPS receivers' theory and practice. The book begins with the basics of GPS receivers and moves onward to more advanced material. The book examines three types of GPS receiver implementations: first is the custom design by the author; second is an industry standard design, now part of the open source network; the third relates to the receiver designed by JPL /NASA. Each receiver is unique allowing the reader to see how each design solves the same problems. Chapters discuss carrier phase measurements and GPS time and frequency measurements. The overall text is measurement oriented as opposed to processing the measurements. With a focus on the fundamentals of measurements the reader will be building their intuition for the physical phenomenon at work.

From the Back Cover

While much of the current literature on GPS receivers is aimed at those intimately familiar with their workings, this volume summarizes the basic principles using as little mathematics as possible, and details the necessary specifications and circuits for constructing a GPS receiver that is accurate to within 300 meters. Dedicated sections deal with the features of the GPS signal and its data stream, the details of the receiver (using a hybrid design as exemplar), and more advanced receivers and topics including time and frequency measurements. Later segments discuss the Zarlink GPS receiver chip set, as well as providing a thorough examination of the TurboRogue receiver, one of the most accurate yet made.

Guiding the reader through the concepts and circuitry, from the antenna to the solution of user position, the book’s deployment of a hybrid receiver as a basis for discussion allows for extrapolation of the core ideas to more complex, and more accurate designs. Digital methods are used, but any analogue counterparts are assessed alongside them, and the author shows how GPS receivers and satellites are more concerned with time and movement than physical position in space.

It's a good book for beginners
By Yuandan Ke
It's a good book for beginners especially for those who don't know GPS. This book help me quickly understand the internal facts of GPS. The author also have good software, hardware, wireless communication, linear algebra knowledge base, so it's a good guide for me.

I buy other GPS books on Amazon such as "Global Positioning System, signals, meeasurements and performance", those books contain too much mathmatics which don't help me understand.

From Publishers Weekly
Dwarf-like woodland good spirits fail to capture the imagination in this lackluster retelling of a Mohegan tale. Fawcett (The Lasting of the Mohegans) and Bruchac's (Tell Me a Tale) somewhat straggling story tells of a medicine woman, Nonner Martha, brought one night to the home of the Makiawisug, or "Little People" (also the "Good Spirits"), to cure their ailing matriarch. Nonner Martha is rewarded with gifts, including a magical belt that she passes on to her granddaughter along with the job of Medicine Woman. The sketchy historical context is at odds with the mythical elements: while the arrival of the "Pale Strangers" seems ominous, the subsequent outbreak of disease among the Mohegans is attributed solely to their failure to remember and honor the Makiawisug, who are also struck by the disease. Wagner's literal, almost textbook-like illustrations do little to summon the sense of magic attributed to the Makiawisug. The "Little People" look simply like scaled-down Mohegans, and although the authors say they play tricks, the Makiawisug don't get to do anything interesting here. Ages 6-10.

Stories about the Little People in Native American culture
By Robert A. Buck
This is a well written and enthralling tale of the mythology of our local Native people here in Connecticut. I remember hearing these same stories in person from Gladys Tantaquidgeon, an elder of the Mohegan tribe, over twenty years ago while visiting her in Eastern Connecticut. She had heard these same stories in her youth from her great aunt, Fidelia Fielding. I love the idea of this passing of knowledge from generation to generation; even though I am not Native American, I appreciate the sense of history of this great people, and the need to pass it on.

A Gem of a Story From Native Storytellers
By Marisa
What a wonderful little book! I'm so happy to see that it's written and illustrated by people of the tribes the story comes from, and even appears to be published by a Native American press...so happy my library system has it! The tone is just right, evocative of the lyricism of traditional storytelling without going too far and seeming gimmicky, telling the tale with obvious love and respect and never being condescending to it's audience.

I picked this up because I have an interest in folk and fairy tales and really want to shore up my familiarity with various Native American traditions of storytelling...and this was just the right book! I had discovered, browsing my library's catalog, a YA novel called Killer of Enemies by Mr. Bruchac and immediately checked it out. Reading the back cover flap about the author, I thought he sounded very cool and looked for what else my library system might have by him. I put this book on hold because it looked similar to stories told in European folklore about "little people", that is to say, spirits or creatures resembling humans but not, and diminutive in size. I wanted to know if this idea of Mikiawisug was similar or different than other traditions that have similar concepts--would they be more like the Little Folk of the British Isles (lephrechauns or elves), or more like forest spirits I've seen portrayed in Miyazaki animated films?

The answer is sort of both, and I'm delighted by the parallels the creators draw between what audiences might already be familiar with and the new ideas they introduce to us to let us know more about northeastern North American native cultures--and by the way, I like that this book takes the useful track of spanning the story across time both before and after the arrival of Europeans--there was life on the continent before we came, after all, we aren't the end-all-be-all of the history of North America like we are used to hearing it told! And the coming of the White Man is handled in a way that I think is generously palatable to those of us who are descended from those White Men (because let's be frank, it was a violent invasion on an apocalyptic scale) while still keeping the tone from being accusing or angry. Rather, instead of focusing outward toward the White Man's descendants, it looks inward at the sadness of the earlier inhabitants of this continent who saw their world destroyed. It doesn't let us off the hook, but it never accuses, and the reaction of the book is just that: sadness. The audience can feel it and share in it, which is, I think, masterful storytelling. The book treats that element very briefly though: I only talk about it here to commend the handling of it.

To answer my question of whether the little characters on the cover of the book were more like leprechauns or avenging Japanese forest sprites, I saw some of both and some elements that were neither, and it fascinated me. The Makiawisug in this story can be strict authorities of the forest who remind humans of their place in the natural world, or pranksters who play embarrassing tricks to scold humans into doing better, but seem never to be cruel, like the arbitrary or excessive punishments meted out by figures of the Mediterranean cultures (although I did see some elements of the fae of older English tradition--the Makiawisug are proud and do not like to be mocked and will root a human who stares at them to the ground like a tree!). They mostly reminded me of something like "forest brownies"--you know the house elves in Harry Potter? They're based off of brownies, little household elves you would leave a little bit of milk and bread in the corner of the house for so they would bless and protect your home and help keep it clean and safe. The Makiawisug are left baskets of offerings in the forest so that they will take care of it and help the natural world flourish as it should and bring prosperity to the humans who live in it..."forest brownies"! When the Makiawisug require help, they gamely set aside their pride and find a renown medicine woman to help them, bringing her back to their world to heal one of their own.

At this point in the story, my guard instantly went up for our human heroine: in a European story of the fae, going to the realm of fairies means you're likely never coming back, at least not without a fight, or that the protagonist of the story will not obey the rules and cause some misfortune to happen. But our medicine woman remembers not to stare until the Makiawisug urge her to disregard the formality to help them...can you imagine a European fae or fairy waiving their own hubris like that? She helps them, follows the rules, saves the day and is rewarded with gratitude and some handsome gifts--which are supposedly passed down through her family to the storyteller to shared the tale with Mr. Bruchac, only adding to the magic by grounding it in reality!

I thought it was a lovely message of two different worlds of people joining together in respect and with a willingness to be taught and listen to solve a shared problem...hmm, interesting! And the Makiawisug sound like other stories of Little People or "ones who came befefore us" that are shared throughout the British Isles and Celtic cultures, the Scandinavian and Germanic ones, and I believe even Maori and Aborigine groups of Australia and New Zealand. Folklorists have suggested that perhaps these tales all derive from early humans encountering--or displacing, or conflicting with--other species of hominids or groups of shorter-statured humans from whom stories were exaggerated and passed into legend over time. That fascinates me, and I'm interested to see it among the indigenous groups of North America, where I hadn't heard of it before. Again...fascinating!

This would make a great story for teaching kids about North American native groups and their history or folklore. I'd also recommend it for adults interested in folklore and Native American storytelling, as well as storytelling in a broader sense. I was really pleased with this gem of a picturebook. I had already planned on looking for more books with Mr. Bruchac's hand in them but I think I'll expand that search to include more picturebooks as well!

A great book for little ones
By LilyNickNate's Mommy
This story of the Makiawisug or the "Little People of the Woodlands" is a great book for young children. While the story is geared for kids ages 6-10 a younger audience appreciates the story better. My three and two year old are in love with the Little People and Granny Squannit who is ill in the story. This is more an historical story about the Medicine Women of the tribe and a magical belt. Essentially, this story is a story that was passed down for many generations to the Medicine Women of the Mohegan tribe of Connecticut.

The Flame Bearer: Saxon Tales, Book 10, by Bernard Cornwell

The next installment of Bernard Cornwell's best-selling series chronicling the epic saga of the making of England, "like Game of Thrones, but real" (Observer, London) - the basis for The Last Kingdom, the hit television series coming to Netflix in fall 2016.

From the day it was stolen from me, I dreamed of recapturing Bebbanburg. The great fort had been built on a rock that was almost an island. It was massive; it could be approached only on land by a single narrow track; and it was mine.

Britain is in a state of uneasy peace. Northumbria's Viking ruler, Sigtryggr, and Mercia's Saxon queen, Aethelflaed, have agreed to a truce. And so England's greatest warrior, Uhtred of Bebbanburg, at last has the chance to take back the home his traitorous uncle stole from him so many years ago - and which his scheming cousin still occupies.

But fate is inexorable, and the enemies Uhtred has made and the oaths he has sworn combine to distract him from his dream of recapturing Bebbanburg. New enemies enter into the fight for England's kingdoms: the redoubtable Constantin of Scotland seizes an opportunity for conquest and leads his armies south. Britain's precarious peace threatens to turn into a war of annihilation.

But Uhtred is determined that nothing, neither the new enemies nor the old foes who combine against him, will keep him from his birthright. He is the Lord of Bebbanburg, but he will need all the skills he has learned in a lifetime of war to make his dream come true. The latest chapter in Bernard Cornwell's "violent, absorbing historical saga", The Flame Bearer confirms Bernard Cornwell's title as "perhaps the greatest writer of historical adventure novels today" (Washington Post).

4.48 Psychosis (Student Editions), by Sarah Kane

This student edition presents both the text of the play with explanatory commentary and notes, helping readers and performers understand this last play by controversial playwright Sarah Kane.

4.48 Psychosis is a tough, sparse and moving work and is full of energy and beauty in spite of its bleak themes. The play sees the ultimate narrowing of Sarah Kane's focus in her work. The struggle of the self to remain intact has moved in her work from civil war, into the family, into the couple, into the individual, and finally into the theatre of phychosis: the mind itself. A single voice, dragged through therapy and endless medication, reveals the true experience of clinical depression.

This play was written in 1999 shortly before the playwright took her own life at age 28. On the page, the piece looks like a poem. No characters are named, and even their number is unspecified. It could be a journey through one person's mind, or an interview between a doctor and his patient.

This Student Edition features full supporting notes to help the student reader or performer understand this influential and challenging work.

this play is intense
By Litost x143
I've read many of Sarah Kane's plays...and hated them all. However, this specific play of hers hits so deaply at what it means to be truly depressed, it's scary. 4.48 psychosis represents 4:48 am, the time when most people commit suicide. This in itself show how horribly, and yet beautifully, intense this book is. In fact, this was Sarah Kane's last play before she committed suicide, very soon afterwards. The writing of the play is completely manifested to meet with the minds of those who are depressed, with words scattered across the page...repeated phrases...intense images...and much more. If you're trying to do a quick and easy play to this one, forget it. However, if you can ever find a way to make this play come alive on the stage, i'll travel anywhere to watch it. This book is for the lover of vocabulary, the person trying to find the perfect words to describe an intense emotion and sense of mind. This may be the one play that accomplishes it completely. It's short and worth it...I gauruntee it'll interest you.

a saner life tomorrow
By Bernd Kotz
I read the text three times this year and saw a german performance on stage. I think the text is difficult to perform because there is no real dialogue in the text. The play is like a poem to me. The more you read the text, the more you feel the rhythm of the words.

The play consists of an inner monologue about the feelings and experiences of Sarah Kane. This is intersected by a dialogue between her and a doctor. The central aspect of the play is the unanswered love to a person she will never meet. It causes the pain she describes in her monologue. Her medical treatment in hospital influences the drama. She wants to detach the body from the soul. In this moment she can only be by herself, especially when she cuts her arms. It gives her the energy to go on because she wants to live. In the end she hasn't got the strength to carry on because her love is unrequited. The psychosis on 4.48 in the morning is the result of the lack of happiness in her life. The problems she shows us in the text are common in everyone lives but it is not as extreme in ours as in hers.

After forty pages you feel a void and a desired to cease the tension. But you can't help it. Let Sarah go and don't idolize her.

Beautifully Sad Modern Drama
By A Customer
Sarah Kane's drama, 4.48 Psychosis is a dark journey through the life of a mentally ill young woman. With no character names, loose dialogue, and not set the play weaves through internal and external monologues, displaying the pain, loneliness, and saddness that is the life of the mentally ill. This piece is ideal for those looking for an abstract modern play that can be done on a budget.

“Christopher Moore is a very sick man, in the very best sense of that word.”
—Carl Hiassen

“[Moore’s novels] deftly blend surreal, occult, and even science-fiction doings with laugh-out-loud satire of contemporary culture.”
—Washington Post

“If there’s a funnier writer out there, step forward.”
—Playboy

Absolutely nothing is sacred to Christopher Moore. The phenomenally popular, New York Times bestselling satirist whom the Atlanta Journal-Constitution calls, “Stephen King with a whoopee cushion and a double-espresso imagination” has already lampooned Shakespeare, San Francisco vampires, marine biologists, Death…even Jesus Christ and Santa Claus! Now, in his latest masterpiece, Sacré Bleu, the immortal Moore takes on the Great French Masters. A magnificent “Comedy d’Art” from the author of Lamb, Fool, and Bite Me, Moore’s Sacré Bleu is part mystery, part history (sort of), part love story, and wholly hilarious as it follows a young baker-painter as he joins the dapper  Henri Toulouse-Lautrec on a quest to unravel the mystery behind the supposed “suicide” of Vincent van Gogh.

Amazon Exclusive: Christopher Moore on Writing Sacre Bleu

I suppose it started when I learned the circumstances of the suicide of Vincent van Gogh; how he had finished a painting, then walked into a corn field and shot himself, and not in the manner one thinks of a suicide. He shot himself in the abdomen, then walked over a mile on a rough trail through the woods above the village of Auvers, France, to the home of his friend, Doctor Gachet, for help. It seemed clear to me that this was not the behavior of a suicidal man. (Particularly when you see how well he was painting at the time.) Vincent had been murdered, and for some reason, I guess from looking at his paintings, I thought that the color blue might be a clue to the circumstances of his murder.

So I decided to write a novel about the color blue.

When it first occurred to me, I had no idea what a can of paint of I was opening. I’ve written historical novels before, but I’d always picked periods and stories that had huge blank spots in them, spots that I could fill in with my story. But I was about to write about the period in which the French Impressionists rose to prominence, and unlike the life of Jesus or the court of King Lear, where very little was known about what actually happened, I could pretty much look up what each of the Impressionists had for breakfast every morning. It was a curse of riches. There was more material than I could ever cover in a single story, unless I found a way to constrain it.

So, to pursue my murder mystery, my tale of an art movement, my portrayal of the Bell Epoch in Paris, I had to find a point of view that would help me cover the time period, from 1863 to 1891 and beyond, so I invented, Lucien Lessard, the baker of Montmartre, Paris—the baker who wants to be a painter, whose father was a patron of Monet, Renoir, and Cezanne when they were at their poorest, and who attended art school with Vincent van Gogh and his best friend, Henri Toulouse-Lautrec. Lucien and Henri would be my detectives, and with them, we would discover not only Vincent’s killer, but the secret and magic behind the mysterious shade of “sacred blue” (Sacré Bleu), and how it had inspired and haunted artists all through history.

Four years after the notion first occurred to me, I turned in the manuscript to Sacré Bleu, and I think it is what I had hoped it could be: a mystery, a fantasy, a romance, a comedy, a history, and an appreciation. I didn’t have an art education going into this book, but I certainly do coming out, and I hope that the reader will painlessly and joyfully, share some of the enthusiasm I have for the subject.

Or, as it says in the prelude:

“Blue is glory and power, a wave, a particle, a vibration, a resonance, a spirit, a passion, a memory, a vanity, a metaphor, a dream.

Blue is a simile.

Blue, she is like a woman.”

From the Back Cover

In July 1890, Vincent van Gogh went into a cornfield and shot himself. Or did he?

Vincent’s friends, baker-turned-painter Lucien Lessard and bon vivant Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, have their doubts. Now they’re determined to answer the questions surrounding van Gogh’s untimely death—like who was the crooked little “color man” Vincent claimed was stalking him across France . . . and why had the painter recently become deathly afraid of a certain shade of blue? Ooh la la, quelle surprise, and zut alors, what follows is a surreal odyssey and brothel-crawl deep into the art world of late-nineteenth-century Paris, as the one, the only, Christopher Moore cooks up a delectable confection of intrigue, passion, and art history . . . with cancan girls, baguettes, and fine French cognac thrown in for good measure.

Dark little fairy tale of the color blue
By Maine Colonial
That's how Christopher Moore characterizes Sacré Bleu. It's also a mystery, a comedy and a dizzying, dazzling trip through the art world of fin-de-siecle Paris.

I read somewhere that every single one of Christopher Moore's books has been optioned but not one has ever made it to film. I think it must be because producers eventually realize that it's just too much of a challenge to translate the sheer lunacy and demented sweetness of Moore's books to the screen.

The book begins on the day of Vincent Van Gogh's death in Auvers, a village near Paris. Vincent has gone to a crossroads to paint. The history is that Van Gogh there shot himself, then walked a mile to the home of his doctor to seek treatment. Moore wondered if it made any sense that an artist at the height of his powers, even one as tormented as Van Gogh, would shoot himself at that point. And then, why would he walk a mile to his doctor's place rather than just lie down and die? Moore appoints baker-turned-painter Lucien Lessard, and famed painter and libertine Henri Toulouse-Lautrec as his alter-ego detectives to pursue the answer to this puzzle. The pursuit involves Renoir, Manet, Monet, Whistler, Pissarro, Gaugin, Seurat, a menacing character called the Colorman, the artists' muses, a few side trips through time and space, and lots and lots about the color blue.

It's been a long time since I read a book in one afternoon, but once I started reading, I couldn't stop. Now, here I sit with my eyes burning and my head filled with whirling images of the adventures of the naive young Lucien and his usually drunk and lubricious but always endearing friend, Toulouse-Lautrec. In the Afterword, Moore writes, "I know what you're thinking: 'Well thanks loads, Chris, now you've ruined art for everyone.'" Far from it. He's definitely made it a whole lot weirder, but isn't that what you're looking for from one of his books?

Moore always travels to the settings of his books before he writes and, in this case, that means France, mainly Paris. If you visit his blog. he has included a chapter guide where, as he says, "you'll find some photographs, a little background on the geography, history, and art featured in the book, as well as observations and musing I had while researching and writing the book that just wouldn't fit in the story, but I hope will give some perspective on it." Before, during or after you read the book, I highly recommend a visit to the blog and the chapter guide. Among many other items of interest---and more extensive attempts to ruin art for everyone---there are photographs of Auvers, the village where Van Gogh was living at the end of his life, including the real-life settings of several Van Gogh paintings, juxtaposed with the paintings themselves.

In addition to being a flat-out joyride of a novel, this is a beautifully produced book, with typefaces evocative of its 19th century Parisian setting and reproductions of artworks of Toulouse-Lautrec, Van Gogh and many other luminaries of the period. Recommended.

Irreverent Art History
By Jennifer
Set primarily in Montmartre, Paris in the 1890s, this is a book about artists, muses and the color blue. Of course, being written by Christopher Moore, you can expect everything to be skewed to the absurd, a bit bawdy, irreverent and playful. Moore inhabits his book with figures real (Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, Pissarro, Van Gogh, Monet, Manet and Renoir) and unreal (Bleu--a body-jumping muse, the Colorman--a gnome who can create the otherwordly shade of blue known as Scare Bleu, and Lucien Lessard, a baker/painter who is obsessed with Juliette).

While reading, I was always curious about what was real and what wasn't. Perhaps the most interesting part of the book for me was Moore's Afterword ("So, Now You've Ruined Art), which provided a breakdown of what was based on fact and what wasn't. Surprisingly, quite a bit of "realness" snuck into a book that is quite fanciful and absurd. It was interesting to learn that Monet really did paint his wife Camille on her deathbed, the puzzling circumstances of Vincent Van Gogh's death, and the ungodly amount of artists who died of syphilis. Another aspect of the book that I enjoyed were the images of the real paintings that are discussed and play a role in the book. I thought it was an ingenious way to make art history come alive in a way that would even seem palatable to ... say ... teenage boys.

However, I just didn't fall in love with the book (despite my deep and abiding adoration of several of Moore's other books). Part of it was the goofy sophomoric humor that runs throughout the book (I guess boobie and penis jokes just don't do it for me) and the other part was the fractured nature of the tale that just didn't draw me in. The real problem, perhaps, is that I just didn't care about any of the characters too much so I never got all that invested in the book or what was happening. Still, if you're a fan of Moore, it is worth checking out even if it fell a bit flat and wasn't his best work. (If Amazon would allow me to give half stars, I would rate it a solid 3.5 out of 5.)

"Art isn't easy"
By Susan Tunis
The quote above isn't from Christopher Moore's Sacré Bleu, but is rather from Stephen Sondheim's "Sunday in the Park with George," a musical about the painter Georges Seurat. These lyrics were like a soundtrack in my head as I read Moore's latest:

Piece by piece-
Only way to make a work of art.
Every moment makes a contribution,
Every little detail plays a part.
Having just a vision's no solution,
Everything depends on execution;
Putting it together-
That's what counts!

Sondheim could as easily have been speaking about writing--and let's face it, he was. Christopher Moore's latest is indeed a work of art, in more ways than one. The first thing the reader will notice is the extraordinary look and design of this gorgeous novel. It's something so rarely seen these days, but in the not too distant past, bookbinding was its own art form. Kudos to HarperCollins for making this book so special! It's covered in a metallic blue half dust jacket that allows the exotic, erotic painting printed right on the book's cover to peek through. The endpapers feature a vintage map of Paris. The book has a lovely layout, and the text is--yes--printed in a rich indigo blue. And within, there are full color reproductions of dozens of paintings by the Impressionist masters who are the characters of this novel. It's odd to spend this much time discussing the outside of a book, but that's how fabulous this one is. And I have heard that only the first edition hardback will be printed in full color, so I would suggest grabbing a copy fast.

As for the story, that's a little more difficult to summarize this time around. For past Moore novels, I could say: It was about vampires, a demon, a jinn, a sea monster that feeds on emotion, a man who walks on water. Like those previous books, this one features an element of the fantastic, but I absolutely cannot explain that element in a word, a phrase, or quite possibly a paragraph. It's different, it took me quite a while to figure out what was going on, and I'm not going to spoil that ride for you.

What I can talk about is the world against which Moore's over-the-top tale is set, and that is the world of the great French Impressionist painters. It opens with the death of Vincent Van Gogh in Auvers, France in 1890. Long assumed to have been suicide, Moore posits a murder. From that opening, the story moves to Paris, and takes up with Vincent's shocked peers. The news is told to baker Lucien Lessard, the struggling artist at the heart of this tale, and one of the very few fictional characters in the book. Lucien rushes out to give the sad news to his pal Henri. You may be familiar with him as Count Henri-Marie-Raymond de Toulouse-Lautrec-Monfa, or just Toulouse-Lautrec, as he is generally known today.

Henri is the ideal sidekick for a Moore novel. As outrageously as Moore's characters tend to behave, one gets the impression that Henri is depicted quite true to character. And he is wildly entertaining! The truth is, I didn't need the somewhat odd plot about the color blue and the menacing "Colorman." I could have spent this entire novel eavesdropping on Lucien, Henri, Monet, Manet, Pissarro, Gauguin, Renoir--yes, Seurat--and so many more, as they went about creating and discussing art. It was riveting. As with Moore's Shakespeare novel, Fool, this tale clearly springs from the author's love and appreciation of their work. And he's done his homework; reading Sacré Bleu is like the most awesome art history lesson ever.

If that's not enough for you, Moore has included a terrific Afterward entitled "So, Now You've Ruined Art" which answers "...what, among this big, blue lie, is true? What really happened?" And it wasn't enough for me, actually. I was so entranced by Moore's artists that I immediately dove into a non-fiction work after reading Sacré Bleu. It was all I could do to restrain myself from hopping on the first flight to Paris. That's how this book affected me.

I realize I haven't actually said much about what happens in the novel. My advice is just read and go where the story takes you. It's funny and profane and over-the-top. It's Christopher Moore. Art ISN'T easy, and I don't know another writer who can do what Moore does. As Mr. Sondheim said, everything depends on execution. Sacré Bleu is an homage to art from a true artist in his own right.
